Question 1

What is Koru Smart CV?

Accepted Answer

Koru Smart CV is an AI-powered CV builder operated by Credaro Technology. It turns your experience into a structured, ATS-ready CV using a guided seven-section builder, then scores it and shows what to improve. Pro plans add job-description matching, interview preparation and cover letters.

Question 2

How does the Job Description Match work?

Accepted Answer

Paste the job description and Koru scores your CV against it: which requirements you already evidence, which ones are missing, the keywords to add, and the requirement-by-requirement checklist behind the score. Interview preparation and cover letters follow from that same comparison.

Question 3

What's the difference between Freemium, Lite and Pro?

Accepted Answer

Freemium is free and includes the guided seven-section builder, two CV templates and ATS analysis. Lite costs $9.99 for three months and adds unlimited drafts, six templates and the ATS-ready PDF download. Pro costs $14.99 for three months and adds AI enhancement on every section, all nine templates, job-description matching, interview preparation and cover letters.

Question 4

How many interview preparation sets and cover letters do I get?

Accepted Answer

Pro includes 10 interview preparation sets and 10 cover letters per subscription cycle, and unused credits do not carry over to the next cycle. If you need more within a cycle, a $4.99 top-up adds 10 more sets and 10 more cover letters while your Pro subscription is active.

Question 5

How do I choose a template?

Accepted Answer

After you've entered your CV content, go to the CV Templates section. The gallery is organised into three families — Classic (corporate, banking and public sector), Modern (tech, creative and marketing) and Executive (senior and C-suite roles). How many you can use depends on your plan: Freemium includes two templates (Corporate Green and Purple Sidebar), Lite unlocks all six Classic and Modern designs, and Pro unlocks all nine, adding the Executive family. Templates above your plan stay visible but locked, with an upgrade prompt, so you can see what a higher tier offers. Click any unlocked template for a live preview of your CV in that style — and switch whenever you like without losing any content, since your data stays the same and only the visual design changes.

Question 6

Do I need a card to start?

Accepted Answer

No. Freemium requires no card: create an account and start building your CV in the guided builder, with two templates available. You only pay when you choose Lite or Pro.
